On-The-Job Training (also known as OJT) is a program that provides reimbursements to Will County employers looking to improve productivity, increase market competitiveness, and expand job opportunities to Will County residents and communities.

We provide reimbursement to the employer of up to 50%* of the wage rate of the participant for the extraordinary costs of providing training and additional supervision related to the training. For employers looking to hire individuals with barriers, a 75% reimbursement rate will be considered.
Borowski Race Engines located in Rockdale, IL has hired Andrew S. of Joliet. Andrew is in training to become a Machinist and will drive their Freight Liner Trailers. When Andrew finishes his training period, the employer will receive reimbursement for a portion of his training wages, and Andrew will continue as an employee.
X- Cel Technologies located in Tinley Park, IL, has hired 6 candidates from the On-the-Job Training Program. Alexander V. is our latest hire to become a CNC Operator. Alexander had no experience in this industry, however, his experience working in environments that require discipline, team work, and attention to detail will make him a great asset at X-Cel Technologies. An additional 3 candidates will begin their On-The-Job training at the company by the end of May.
